It all started at the age of 13 when my best friend and I started tattooing each other with a sewing needle and string. I was hanging with an older crowd that turned me on to a local shop were I got my first so called “real tattoo”. I then went on to pursue playing bass and had the dream to be a rock star. The people I met in the music scene introduced me to a local artist “Matt Wojo”, where I got my first “real tattoo”. He inspired me to pick up drawing again.
One day I was golfing with some friends who owned a tattoo shop and offered me a position as a helper. I took them up on the offer and so began my journey to be a tattoo artist. From there I met other tattoo artists and started attending more conventions. The work of guys like Chris Trevino, Guy Aitchison, Cleen Rock 1 and Kory Kruger inspired me further. I have been tattooing now for 5 years working in such shops as Screamin’ Demon, Extreme, Shaw’s and Sacred Heart. Opening my own shop is a dream come true. I took all the things I had learned and decided to do it my way.
